April 22nd we officially closed on our house. It was a little bitter, sweet for me because I really put a lot of myself into that little house and also because it was a sign that our time here in Indiana is coming to a close. I have really loved living here and have enjoyed all the many friends I have met over the past two years. I couldn't imagine that the Lord would bless us so abundantly over this trying time. Life has been stressful these past two years but, our family has grown in so many ways. We have been touched by so many and loved by so many. I think often I'm in denial that I'm actually leaving Fishers and because of this I haven't quite figured out when I will be leaving??? As most of you know we are headed West where Jason will start a practice of his own in the Fall. Jason is so excited and is thrilled with the idea of starting his own practice and being closer to family and the mountains. Jason's excitement helps me push forward and I do feel right about our decision but, it's still hard for me. I must say that I'm grudgingly leaving a place I now call home and friends I call family but, I know we are meant to continue our journey to our original home. So with the house sold we are one step closer to finalizing our journey. I took this picture on the day we left the house. My kids were sad to say goodbye but, were ready to live in the new apartment ( I think to them it's like staying in a hotel). I was glad to say goodbye because that meant no more packing or cleaning.
We are currently enjoying apartment life while Jason finishes his residency and the kids finish out there summer sporting commitments. Not wanting to pack and move most things twice we packed most things up to store in our garage so we are down to the basics. Living with the basics has many positives. I'm finding that less is definitely more.
So one of the Cons of living in the apartment is no more Bus rides to school. I've had to be a little more organized with my time now that I have to shuttle the kids to and from school. Mckay watches the clock and is after me every morning because he's afraid I'm going to make him late for school. I'm proud to say we have never been late. While we wait in the parent pick up line Beckham loves to stick his head out the sun roof and yell at Mckay while he's at recess or waiting in line (depending on how early we get there). He's a crazy kid!!!
Apartment pictures are soon to come.

Random Spring Events!!!
So our Spring has been full of lot's of events and Fun times!
School Events
Mckinley had her school program at school. The program was a Pirate theme. Here Mckinley is posing with her friend Kylie.
Beckham and Mckinley posing after the program.
The Third grade at Fall Creek puts on a Wax Museum every year. The kids pose as a famous person and when you push their button they tell you all about their person. Mckay was Derek Jeter!
It's very important that the kids sit still and don't move until their button is pushed. Here Mckay is trying really hard to not smile! I guess Mckinley and her friends had come in earlier and were really teasing Mckay making it difficult for him to not laugh. Sisters-- they can be a pain some times.
Easter
Easter came so quickly this year. We at least made time to color some Easter Eggs. My kids always love doing this activity.
Beckham he was just a mess!!
Pacer Basketball
A highlight of our time here in Indiana is the Pacer's Games! This game Mckinley and Jason got to sit court side right behind the basket. Mckinley loved it!
Mckay chose to bring some of his good friends Jake and Kaden, so he missed out on sitting court side. As you can see he really doesn't seemed to be bothered by it.
Baseball
Beckham wants in on the baseball action. He loves to wear Mckay's last year uniform to the games and be the team mascot. The Boys just love him and give him so much attention. Jason has been working with him o fielding and hitting a little bit. Here he is showing off his new skills.
The defensive stance!!!
Soccer
Spring means Soccer!!! The girls are having a good season thus far. They are playing up a division (U10) in one of the leagues and it is giving them some good competition. Mckinley is posing with her teammates.
Trying to entertain Beckham!!! We bring all sorts of toys and goodies.
Friends
Time here in Indiana wouldn't be the same without all our amazing friends. Here are a few pics of gatherings with friends. The thought of saying goodbye to these great friends makes me so sad.
Norris's going away party at the Pacer game!!!

Noblesville Tournament
Mckay played in his first of many tournaments of the year. The boys won all 6 games and beat our B team to win the championship. Mckay had a great tournament! He pitched well and hit the ball well too. Grandma Marilynn was in town to help me pack and to watch the kids in all their events. So we had fun on Sunday sitting at the ball park from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM. Good thing Grandma Marilynn is a good sport. Here are some pics of the tournament!
This was one of McKay's Home Runs of the tournament! He hit the ball to center and then he was off!
The Boys just love Home Runs and they all ran out to Congratulate Mckay! These boys are so cute!
Pitching in the Semi Finals game!
Mckay loves stealing!
Beckham is all boy and is always playing in the dirt!
King Of The Corn Champs!!!
