Mckinley's 8th Birthday!!! Family dinner at Chile's and fun at the Carmel Water Park with friends.
Prospects had a good Fall season and finished second in the league behind Seymour in a 11U league. Our boy are only 10 so I think they had a great showing. Should be a fun Spring.
Beckham's Birthday Dinner at Texas Roadhouse!!
Beckham being Beckham!!! He loves to put his lotion on all by himself and on this particular day he got a little carried away with the lotion. He then started dancing and smearing it all over.
For Beckham's Birthday he wanted football gear. Here he is flexing his big muscles!
Admiring he new football cleats!
First Day of school! McKay and Mckinley started a new school this year because of our apartment situation. But, it all works out and they're loving Thorpe Creek.
Justin Bieber Concert!!!!
Beckham's first day of preschool!!! Beck's was so excited to finally go to school. He started a couple weeks after the kids and it was a long three weeks. He just loves Mrs. Weaver and Mrs. Torrito. Besides class time they rotate PE, Music, and chapel time. When it was their first time going to Chapel time Beckham came home and told me that he went to church.
Mckinley was baptized in September. It was so fun to have both the grandparents out. Mckinley was a little nervous but was fine when she was finally baptized.

Time for a New Post
So Mckinley was checking out the family blog and she said, "Mom it's time for a new post". I think she's right. A lot has happened since I last posted and this is going to be a long entry. We are still in our apartment. Apartment living in the Summer definitely has some perks-- No mowing the lawn or yard work, swimming pool to entertain my kids, and smaller living space means less to clean. There are moments when our 1200 square foot living space gets a little small but, it's Summer and we are always on the go. Here's a few of our adventures.
Mckinley's Top Reading Award
Mckinley worked so hard this year to read 3,000 pages so that she could be placed on the Hall of Fame. Only a few second graders received this award. I was so proud of her and I enjoyed reading with her every night.
Mckinley with her teacher Mrs. Green.
Soccer Girls
Ana braided the girls hair for the big soccer game. I just thought these two looked so cute.
Outrun the Sun 5K

Within a block things drastically changed. Here McKay is throwing up. I'm trying to encourage him to just finish because we only had 2 or 3 blocks left and I really wanted him to win.
After we entertained the spectators with some Chocolate throw up we carried on. Mckay ended the race with a first place in the kids division and we finished in I think 27 minutes.
Team Vail!! We ran the race with the residence in Jason's program and his professor Dr. Vail's family. Afterwards we enjoyed a BBQ at Dr. Vail's. Dr. Vail lives at Fort Ben which is on the race course. It was a great night with friends.
Beckham stayed behind with Briel and they caught a frog. These two played so well and are about the cutest things ever.
McKay turns 10
In between soccer and baseball games McKay celebrated his 10th birthday. He saved up his money and got himself an IPOD. We let him choose his favorite place to eat and he of course chose Chipotle. Later in the next week we took a few boys to Carmel Water Park.
Chicago and Wrigley Field
Mckay had a baseball tournament in Chicago so we made a trip out of it. Tyler and Erika flew out and joined the fun. The highlight was a Cubs game. We also walked Michigan Ave, ate Chicago Deep Dish, and hit the Hershey store.
The Cubs even pulled out a Victory so we were able to sing the victory song after the game. I wish we were able to sing the Victory song after McKay's teams games but, not the case. The Cat's were on vacation and didn't really show up to play baseball. But, this is when I remember that the boys are nine and they would rather swim in the pool, play basketball all night, and roam the hotel halls then worry about preparing for a baseball game.
Jason's Graduation
I can't believe that 2 years has come and gone and that we have survived. It has been a great learning experience for both Jason and I. We have been through a lot of trials these two years but, I hope one day in the end it will all be worth it. I was so proud of Jason and the hard work he put into this residency. I saw the many nights that he sat on the couch studying and writing his thesis, the many hours in the lab, and all the heartache while he tried to make decisions about our future. He truly deserved this night and the great honor that comes with it.
The four Endo residence. Jason just loves these guys. They became more than classmates they're best friends for a lifetime.
Dr. Vail and Spolnik trying to keep them from leaving. I thought this was such a funny picture.
Butler Basketball Camp
Mckay along with a few of his baseball friends went to the Butler Basketball camp. It was really special considering that Butler played in the National Championship Game last year. Mckay loved it. Hinkle Fieldhouse is legendary and where the movie Hoosiers is filmed. McKay played his tournament for the week on the Bull Dawgs floor.
Mckay getting ready for the big game. McKay's team played in the championship game.
In overtime McKay's team pulled out the victory and became the Tournament Champs!!
Beckham posing with Matt as we watched McKay's team play.
4th of July
We spent the 4th with the Mowrey's and Allston's. Jim had his famous BBQ and it was a fun night of fireworks, relaxing, and as always great conversation.
Night out on the Town
Last Saturday night we went out down town for Turkish Food (Jason's Idea). He has wanted to take me to this Turkish Restaurant and bring the Mowrey's as well. To my surprise the food was pretty good. Afterwards we walked down Mass Ave. and looked at the funky stores. Great night with Great Friends.
Well this is us in a Nutshell. Our future is as always still up in the air. We will keep you up to date as it becomes clearer. Until we figure it all out we will enjoy the moment and take whatever comes!!!

Outrun the Sun 5K
Mckay ran his first 5K. Here we are posing before the race.

He was running strong all until the last half mile. We were running a steady pace and we had just passed a kid to be in first place.
