Chicago

My sister has been here the past week and we decided to head up to Chicago to walk around the city. I am posting some photos of our day trip.

Chicago can be so cold and windy. It truly is the Windy City. Although, it was somewhat of a nice day the kids froze.

The kids loved the Hershey Store. Mckinley got some hot cocoa and Beckham and McKay wanted giant Hershey Chicago bars.

Hey how is it going? I just wanted to say hello and tell you that your kids have grown up so much haha, seriously i dont even recognize them!! Im afraid to think what 6 more months will bring haha! I hope all is well!! Much love from Argentina!

I'll never forget cramming the 4 of us, plus all 4 of our kids, plus all of our luggage and strollers in our pilot and making the 6 hour drive from Columbus! Barney Family

I am currently a stay at home mom of three children. After graduating from Brigham Young University in Biology, I taught school for two years and decided that I wanted to stay home with my children. I have a eight year old son Mckay, a six year old daughter Mckinley, and 2 year old son Beckham. I am married to my high school sweetheart and our journey has taken us many different places together. When Jason finished his degree at BYU we moved to Ohio so Jason could pursue his DDS. After being totally converted to Buckeye Nation and making such wonderful lifelong friends we ventured to Colorado. Jason worked as a dentist for three years and decided he wanted to specialize in Endodontics (root canals). Currently we are in Indiana, as Jason finishes his Endodontic residency. We love the outdoors and enjoy camping, mountain biking, playing softball, hiking and trail running. Both Jason and I run and train for marathons, so a lot of our spare time is spent running. I love to hang out with friends and family, watch The Office and reality TV with Jason, and support my children in school and extra curricular activities. We have been blessed to have so many great friends and a great family and we love blogging so we can keep in touch with so many.
