Boston Marathon 2009

Most of you know that I love running and that my life revolves around running. Today was the Boston Marathon and although I didn't participate this year I still enjoyed following the race online. This year was a dramatic finish with three runners battling for first place. In watching the race, I entertained the great and horrible memories of Boston 2008. I will never forget: Walking the streets of Boston with great friends, watching the Boston Red Sox, watching the US Women's Olympic Trials and being so inspired to work a little harder, lining up for the big race and running way too fast at the first, paying for running to fast about mile 16-20 and then lying in the ditch after the race not really caring to move. Boston brings good times. My friend Kami and fellow running partner posted this link on FB.

I did not know you ran the Boston Marathon in 2008!! That is so AWESOME!! I started running last summer and got up to 3 miles and then my knees started to really bother me so I quit running! :o(
I am so proud of you even if you "laid in the ditch afterwards and could not move"!
You are my hero Kellie! :o)

Kellie I got your email that you sent to Kellie. I am no longer on Face Book, to many emails and it was way to busy for me. I will just stick to my running blog from now on. If you want you can call me and we can talk running. There is so much to talk about that I would have a hard time typing all of that. 420-1147. Thanks, I am no expert, but I would like to help if at all possible.

You're so awesome! Ya know, if you follow us to Vegas, than you've only got one more year until the St. George marathon...that's not too far away?! That's so cool you ran the Boston marathon.
