Boston Bound

So we are headed to Boston tomorrow for the Boston Marathon. We have been training for some time and we are so excited to finally be on our way. I have been busy today getting things all situated with my kids so hopefully it will all work out. Thanks to all who are helping and for all the encouraging words. It will be nice to get away and have fun with Jason. He has been waiting to run this race for quite some time. Hopefully it will be a good run.

A few of you have asked about tracking us on our run. You can go to www.BAA.org and track us. The race starts on Monday at 10:00AM Eastern. My (Kellie) bib number is 4561 and Jason's bib number is 3963.

I shall track you every step of the way. I am actually running the Boston Marathon on Monday through you, since I'll never make it there myself! Run your heart out and beat you know who!

I have been thinking about you all morning. I didn't check your blog until now, but before I went to the Boston Marathon site and checked on your start time. I thought you would be in wave 1 and was right. It was interesting to read that they start the elite woman and men at different times.

We have a man from our ward that is running it as well. I would see him on a long run around Lexington and know it was him from far away because he was bookin' it. Anyone who can qualify for Boston is amazing!

What a impressive feat and accomplishment is for both of you! Congrats!

I'll have to check in on you. Your start time is in 14 minutes. Have a GREAT run!!!

tell jason i'm disappointed that he didn't wait for you at the end. but you guys had awesome times. wade couldn't believe that you guys had a 7 minute pace time. i, of course, was not surprised. congratulations.

WOO HOO! You guys did great. We followed you all morning. I even called my mom to tell her about your run. 3:26:49. Amazing! I too was wondering about Jason's 30 second win. Was the finish something you had talked about before? It looked like you were able to stay together for nearly all the race. You got 741 overall woman and 586 in your division. AMAZING!

I hope you got to sit down at Fenway, watch the Soxs and just relax this afternoon. You deserve it.

CONGRATULTAIONS! Thanks for making my morning (and entire day) so enjoyable.

Kellie,

I am not just being nice, but truthful. You both are amazing.

The guy from our ward ran it in 3:16. I haven't seen him since he got back yesterday. It will be fun to chat with him about the race on Sunday.

I loved seeing Lance Armstrong throw out the first pitch at the Soxs game on Tuesday. Did you make it to a game? I hope so.

Have a great day.

Cheryl
