So I am a little late in writing this post. I can't blame my busy schedule, I just haven't gotten around to a new post. About two weekends ago my parents were in town for Columbus Day weekend. It was a challenge for my dad because he hates to fly but we loved having them here. We enjoyed morning runs, shopping, a trip to the local horse races, eating out, a visit to the park and relaxing with the family. They also watched the kids last soccer and football games on Saturday. Mckay played well and scored a touch down. Big improvement from when Grandma and Grandpa Barney were here ( that weekend we played some mini pro football team and our team couldn't do anything right). Mckinley also played well and ended her last game with eight goals. On Sunday night we watched the baseball games and made Carmel Apples--yummy! It was a good way to get into the fall spirit, although the weather was nothing like Fall. It was such a nice weekend, in the eighty's. The weather has now definitely changed and we are feeling fall weather. It was so fun to have my mom and dad here and who knows maybe my dad will be up for another flight to Indiana. He kept saying he loved the scenery here and how beautiful it was so, I am sure he will be requesting a trip back-- yeah right!

Having company is always fun...especially with it's family. How nice to have seen both sets of grandparents recently!

Hey kellie i'm glad that your parents had fun. I seen your dad at stone drug before they left and he said he was going out to see you, but didn't sound too excited. It sounds like they had a great time. You said that you are coming for christmas, let me know what the dates are and we will forsure get together.

sounds like you guys are doing great. i'm actually making caramel apples tonight, but no grandpas to help. oh well, at least your parents travel. loved reading about your trip to ohio. so fun!! can't wait til we can do that.
