We had a good weekend. My kids had movie night at their school on Friday night so Jason, Beckham and I went to Texas Roadhouse to have steak. I just love that place. I don't know if the food sat to well with Beckham because he woke up Friday night vomiting. It was only once, so maybe just something he ate and not the Flu. Unfortunately Beckham decided that from 3:00AM on he didn't want to go to bed. Jason, not thinking, said "hey Becks, do you want to watch Lion King?" Of course, Beckham was all over that. So Jason and Beckham went down stairs and watched Lion King, Beckham's favorite show. When I got up to go running, I could here Elton John "Can you Feel the Love Tonight" blaring. I thought for sure the two of them had crashed on the couch. When I went down stairs Jason was dead asleep, it was pitch black and Beckham's two little eyes were watching the credits roll across the screen. Not wanting to wake Jason up, as I went running, I put it on again for him. When I got home from running I had to hurry to get ready for Mckay's game and Jason had to get a run in so, we had to put Lion King on a third time. I think Beckham set a record in watching Lion King a total of three times consecutively, all before 9:00AM.
Mckay played on Saturday. The team they played was more aggressive than the other teams we had played and we had a few injuries due to a few tackles. I got some footage of Mckay playing quarterback. He caught an interception but, unfortunately I wasn't recording defensive plays.
Mckinley also had a soccer game. It was so hot and her face was beat red. I can't take credit for the camera footage, this was Jason. Mckinley scored two goals but, we didn't catch any of them on tape. She is the little one in green whose uniform comes down to her ankles. She got her hair cut right before her game and it looks cute, really short though.
We ended the night by having a babysitter so we could go to a party at one of Jason's professor's house. The kids just love Jacky, our babysitter. She does Mckinley's nails, has drinking contests and Guitar Hero contests with Mckay, and lets Beckham watch Lion King as many times as he wants. It was fun to visit with some of the residents in Jason's program and get to know their wives. His professors house was amazing and the food was delicious. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day that started at 3:00 AM.

Kel--you guys are super busy. I love that Jason let Beckham watch Lion King at 3 in the morning. I want to see pics of Mckinley's new hair cut. It looked cute from the video. Talk to you soon!
That is so funny!! I bet Paityn could stay up all night too! She just wouldn't sit still watching a movie.

Sounds like a great family weekend! We've had to do that with Chase with Cars before but not starting at 3 in the morning - Jason was a trooper!
i'm hoping that the babysitter's drinking contests with mckay are of the kool-aid type; otherwise, i might rethink that babysitter. love the fall with all the sports. and love the story about beckham. drew would do the same thing, but he'd have to be watching high school musical.
